Safeguarding

The Church Schools of Cambridge takes its safeguarding responsibilities extremely seriously. We wish to ensure that our clients, volunteers and staff are kept safe from harm.  We aim to do this by establishing an ethos safety in and around all of our activities.

Our recruitment processes is rigorous and conforms to current recommended guidance. We do our utmost to ensure that only those suitable to work with children are employed or volunteer with us.

Our Handbooks and Safeguarding Policy set out our expectations and procedures for trustees, staff and volunteers to follow – these have been put in place to keep everybody safe. Our policies and procedures also ensure that where a child makes a disclosure about an event outside school, there are appropriate structures in place to ensure that action is taken to support the child.
