The Trust’s work is based around its charitable objectives as follows:
The Trust Schools
We work directly with our four schools by providing facilities and targeted support, in appointing Foundation Governors to the overall Governing bodies and in providing specific grants to support the overall educational needs (both spiritual and emotional) of school children. Wherever possible we are looking to disseminate the best practice that our funding has created.
Resources and Events
We run and resource events on themes of Christian ethos, RE, spirituality and Collective Worship. These events include our schools’ storytelling sessions, workshops and walking tours, which are open to all primary schools in the Cambridge area.
Partnerships
We work in partnership with others and fund activities that support the provision of RE, Collective Worship and the educational needs of young people.
We are always interested in hearing about new ideas, activities or links that could help children’s education and spiritual enrichment.
Children’s work with Churches
The Trust inherited the Jesus Lane Sunday School Endowment Fund, the fund is now part of the overall Trust’s investments and is used to provide small grants for churches within our area of benefit to support children’s work and links with schools in their parishes.
