Staff from Cherry Hinton Primary School enjoyed a thought provoking Human Rights Footprints walk on 18th October. This was part of a team building exercise with the new headteacher. The walk was carried out with the Church Schools Projects Officer – Victoria Goodman who explained who Christians in Cambridge have made a huge contribution to human rights in local, national and international arenas. The walk explores their perseverance in the face of adversity, and the length of time needed
for their campaigns to succeed. It explains the relevance of these past human
rights campaigns to the world we live in today.
Staff were treated to food and refreshments at the end of the walk, which was funded by the Church Schools of Cambridge.
