Thoughts around the Cross

Monday 16th – Friday 20th March 2015

Church of the Good Shepherd, Arbury

The latest in the Rain in the Desert exhibitions. Nailed! is an interactive exhibition for primary school children, to enable them to encounter the events of Good Friday.

Exploring concepts such as ‘Who do Christians believe Jesus is?’, ‘Why did he have to die’, and ‘Why is it called Good Friday?’, it incorporates story-telling, open-ended wondering questions, multi-sensory activities and creative response.

Sessions run for a morning or an afternoon, during which the children will be divided into groups and told a series of stories and given time to respond spiritually. The experience is suitable for children from Reception to Year 6, of all faiths and none.
